Можно сделать вывод, что несмотря на длительную историю становления концепции БОД, а также наличие преимуществ от его имплементации, выработанных мыслителями теоретически и подтвержденных на практике многочисленными экспериментами как в развитых, так и в развивающихся странах мира, возможные недостатки введения БОД, а также ограничения, характерные конкретно для Российской Федерации, не позволяют говорить о его применимости (по крайней мере, в полноценном варианте) на территории нашей страны. Тем не менее стоит отметить, что дальнейшая разработка моделей и схем по повышению благополучия жителей России, использующих некоторые принципы, лежащие в основе концепции БОД, имеет большой потенциал.
