Право и наука вышли на новую ступень взаимодействия, более сложную, но и предусматривающую большую ответственность представителей каждой стороны. От их взаимопонимания зависит многое: прогресс, качество законов, выживаемость цивилизации. Свобода научных исследований должна служить благу человечества - логичный понятный посыл. Иной момент: трактовки блага могут существенно различаться. Это налагает серьезное бремя на законодателя, определяющего в этих сложных условиях ту «нить Ариадны», призванную провести науку сквозь угрозы, соблазны, кризисы современного мира.
